This report provides important information about your drinking water and the efforts made by our water system to ensure its safety. 

It is essential to understand that all drinking water, including bottled water, may contain small amounts of some contaminants. However, the presence of these contaminants does not necessarily mean that the water poses a health risk. 

Certain individuals, such as those undergoing chemotherapy, organ transplant recipients, people with HIV/AIDS, those with immune system disorders, as well as the elderly and infants, may be at a higher risk for infections. We recommend that these individuals consult their healthcare provider regarding drinking water safety.

Guidelines from the EPA and CDC on how to reduce the risk of infection by Cryptosporidium and other microbial contaminants can be obtained from the Safe Drinking Water Hotline at (800) 426 4791. 

If lead is present, elevated levels can lead to serious health issues, especially for pregnant women and young children. Lead in drinking water primarily comes from materials and components in service lines and home plumbing. Since we cannot control the variety of materials used in plumbing components, it's important to take precautions. To minimize potential lead exposure, flush your tap for 30 seconds to 2 minutes before using water for drinking or cooking, especially if the water has been sitting for several hours.
